So basically what I want is, that if I sit on my Computer, (Client) I want to move files to a folder on the Server according to my Folder Structure and not to the default folder for imported files3 votes
Daminion has a number of bugs with different importance. Some of them are known a year. But Daminion Software prefers to implement new features. And official releases published at website (not test builds on forum) are have them all - bugs and features.
This software is still very good and "pros" are more significant then "cons", but they will be accumulates. If Daminion will have much capabilities, but most of them will be with some annoying bugs users will start to find better software.55 votes
comparing a number of pictures directly in a side by side view with synchroneous zoom an pan would be great.
Some other viewers do have this feature (XNview, faststone image viewer, ThumbsPlus, ...)
This is great for comparing several similar pictures (e.g. check group portraits for closed eyes).20 votes
I would like to have the Option to store Exporting profiles on the Server and on the local machine!
I could generate exporting profiles and assign them to all users, e.g. for all our iPhone devices so I can perfectly create them and all the others can use them.1 vote
I would like to see a "Plugin" or something like this for Daminion, to stream the Mediafiles directly to a UPNP Device or Apple TV!1 vote
I just created my first catalog from a folder which was managed by Picasa in the first place. Picasa is not able to create hierarchical tags, so i am now sitting in front of a very long list of tags.
So in worst case, i need to move the word "ape" into the tag "zoo" and scroll down all the way.
I found a workaround but a "move to" sub-menu would be great.4 votes

Is there any way to schedule sync as a task for a quiet time, say overnight? I currently use the standalone desktop version but would be happy to switch to the server version?
My 'server' is a Synology NAS drive. The image library is stored there. It would be great if I could schedule a service in Synology through a 'Daminion Synology Package'0 votes
